Hey guys, I am curious what is bottle necking my configuration. I am running Blacklist on DX11 at it's default 'High' setting, and my framerate isn't the best and frequently drops during populated sections.

Here is my config:



i5 3570k (Not overclocked)
550Ti
8GB DDR3 RAM

I am running this at 1680x1050.

Shouldn't you look at your video settings first, or do you have to play at max everything?

Things aren't maxed. I've flipped a few things here and there.

However I would really like it if I could do max or near max settings and I am not opposed to buying new hardware to do that.

Yep, just looking at the three your graphics card is most likely the problem.

7950 or GTX760.

Also overclock your cpu. Will help raise your minimum frames.

Define crazy expensive. I think 600 is crazy expensive where you might think 300 is crazy experience.

What's your max price, your preferred GPU maker (AMD or Nvidia) and GPU slot (PCI E I'm assuming with your CPU).

$300 is acceptable. I like Nvidia, and yes pcie.
