DJ Krush is cool if you're into techno/Japanese-tinged traditional music. His last album was called Jaku--give it a listen if you have a chance.

If Mars Volta is playing inside (some festivals have small tents), see them. If they're on the big outside stage, avoid. I could imagine them sounding horrible on a big festival stage.

see those people.thought john prine is pretty old so he could go either way. m.ward/newsom might be too quiet, but they are fantastic. the crowd is going to hate newsom something awful.

anyway it's going to a big waste of time,t hough drive by truckers will be whatever you paid to go to the festival.

the only good thing about the word is that they get put in the gospel section of cd stores sometimes. what an awful band

definitely check out toots and the maytals if you like old school reggae, and bela fleck plus iron and wine are both recommended.

I'm gonna DL some of their songs (got a bunch of free iTunes downloads from Mt Dew) and song recommendations?

Also, nitewulf thanks for the input, I have a Bella Fleck CD and was planning on checking him out, I like his stuff.

Hey D-Trip...you still have that picture of you, me, wick and "Zach" hanging out before (or after) his show at the Quest? If so, you should PM me a link or something.
