I downloaded the speed run on how one guy beat the game with 16 stars total, and watching it really made me want to play Mario 64 again. This is why I'm glad I don't trade my systems, or treat them lousily, so when I want to play older games, I can. Anyways, to beat the game with 16 stars, you have to do numerous glitches. The last of these glitches is where you defeat the endless stairs. You basically long jump, then jump backwards while pounding on the A button till eventually, you shoot your way up the stairs. I'm so proud of myself.
