It's a 10/10 movie. Beautiful soundtrack. Okay animation but cool characters and story.

It's a follow up to a tv series. The basically premise is that some space colonists from Earth dug up a giant robot and space ship. A race of aliens believe the robot to be their God and want it back. The colony is destroyed with the survivors escaping on the space ship. The Buff Clan has chased the Earthlings to the edge of the universe and are preparing their final trap.

Everyone dies in this movie btw and the most brutal scene is a kid getting their head blown off by a rocket launcher. I watched this in 2008.
