She's been an artist that I've been meaning to get into for quite a while. Last night a friend popped her Greatest Hits into my car cd player and I was totally into it. It may have helped that at that point it was around 1:30am and we were just kinda looking at the stars/city from a high point, but I'm listening to it again right now and it still rocks. A lot. I'd go as far as to say that it's pretty beautiful. So yeah, where to start with Bjork? I was thinking Homogenic since that constantly gets praise, but I like going through an artist's discography in chronological order just to see how they've evolved over the years. Thoughts?

Bjork at 5am on an empty highway = pretty damn cool.

Homogenic is her praised best but you if you plan on getting most of her catalog anyway it might be best to start with "Debut" and go in chronological order so you appreciate all of them for what their worth and how she grew from album to album.

Bjork rocks, I have her greatest hits album too.

bjork is one of the best artist to drive to around at 2am.

the album that got me into her a lot was homogenic then followed by post.

She rocks and so do all of her CD's but PLEASE check out the stuff the Sugarcubes did. The mix of the lead singer's voice and Bjork's voice is just so damn funny and cool.

I wouldn't consider Ein the lead singer - if anything co-lead, if not he's like a backup. And yes, he has funny moments.

i bought that album knowing nothing about it, but got sucked in by the awesome cover photo - it's my favourite album of hers . but the rest are all good too
