my gf is watching this thing on gwen stefanni right now (making the video?) and she's just going on and on about how "there's this lyric that goes, it goes, take a chance and you might grow, and what this means is blahblahblah"

then she goes onto say how this album isn't for anyone but herself, and that she is playing different "roles" in her songs. man what the fuck. that is lame as hell. the entire idea of an artist analyzing and going into detail about what their own lyrics mean is a joke.

if i were ever a giant rocker i wouldn't do bullshit interviews and videos like that. i also just read an AP or something with that gay band the used, and they do the same shit. give me a break dudes, you band sucks cock and talking about your horrible lyrics makes it even worse
