Yes, offer, but if he agrees that you pay, say you left your wallet at home.

Offer to pay, don't drink alcohol, don't try to be a kiss ass, and don't be overly nervous and sweaty. If he wants to meet with you this is more about getting to know you than anything else - so show him the CONSERVATIVE you. Choose your words carefully and don't start sharing all sorts of stories and such unless you know that he wants to hear it.

I would reccommend against it. It makes you look too overeager as he can clearly afford to pay for your dinner (and expense it as a business expense) while you would be paying out of your own pocket. Furthermore, it might make you look like a spendthrift.

i wouldn't. if he asks you to lunch interview, it is clear that they are paying for it. They are trying to find a highly qualified candidate and lunch is just a small recruiting cost. I would think that offering to pay would come accross as quite , well, weird.

I just did some interviews with accounting firms and in the final interview day, they took my to lunch at a fancy expensive restaurant like it was no biggie. Its just a way of attracting recruits
