i have one simple question about MGS:TT

Is there a scene where the camera rotates around the character in at least one complete circle? In every Kitamura movie i've seen (Alive being a possible exception), there's a scene where the camera rotates on an axis.

i'm asking because i get read errors trying to read the second disc, and it's really been bugging me whether or not he employed this technique in another of his works.

A simple yes or no will do. i'll get to the scene eventually and i don't wanna be tempted by spoiler tags. :)

There could be. As much as i thought the trailers ruined all the cool scenes, and as much as they did, there were still some cool nuances and crazy Kitamura over-the-topness in each scene that the trailers didn't show.

I don't particularly remember, but perhaps i does at the beginning when he's taking the elevator up at it says "Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes" and maybe the second sniper duel. Sorry, there's no way I'm putting that game back in my gamecube. :(

You're right The cutscenes were a little out there, but not that horrid. Maybe I could put the demo theater on for ya and check.

the closest I can remember to a rotation of the camera in the game is the scene where Snake first sees the ArmsTech President and he utters the words "Am I too late?" Although it doesn't do a full circle, but the camera does spin in half a circle....from Snake's back to his front.

Other than that, I dunno.

The camera goes around in a circle, but the camera moves along with the action...it's when Solid Snake faces Vulcan Raven for the 2nd time. Snake fires a stinger shot while Raven fires his vulcan gun. The camera moves along with the stinger missle, while making a 360 motion around it...it eventually gets destroyed by Vulcan Raven's bullets

Not sure if that's exactly the same though...I know what you mean by the camera moving in a complete circle though...I remember it in Azumi

It's not THAT bad. I've been replaying the entire trilogy with a friend of mine and just played TTS after MGS3. It's most certainly the least polished MGS title yet released and lacks the attention to detail found in MGS2 and 3...but it's not really bad. It's still fun to play and I enjoy the alternate cutscenes, music, and gameplay additions in the context of MGS1.
