They wouldn't unilaterally declare a no-fly zone over the country, they would have to first come to an agreement with Russia about it.

She's not going to start Wold War 3.

Pretty sure when talking about a no-fly zone, it's not just plopping one down and hoping Russia will back down. I think she mentioned that it would be the end goal of negotiations with Russia and a lot of hard decisions about other stuff.

But yea, I agree, just declaring a no-fly zone is a situation waiting to explode, and I think she understands that.

How's the weather in Moscow?

Are you sure you're not posting from a Russian troll house?

Fuck off with this "everybody who strays 0,1mm from the message must be a russian internet troll" meme already. He posted a reasonable OP with a good source article that can spark interesting discussion. And it's certainly worrisome seeing how Putin and Clinton hate each other and the consequences this will have, even if it doesn't mean "VOTE TRUMP INSTEAD!".

She's not an idiot. I'm pretty unaware on diplomacy/military action but Clinton isn't gonna do anything reckless, certainly not WW3 worthy. She might take some action but with all the shit going down can America justify inaction in this conflict?

It's a good thing Putin views Clinton as a threat, because that means the likelihood of a major incident is far less likely, because he knows he won't be able to get away with any major moves that could be perceived as hostile intentions.

Syria is a mess and while a no-fly zone is dangerous, I am not against the idea of a future Clinton administration pushing back against Russian aggression in Syria and Russian aggression against our NATO allies in general. Russia has been overplaying their hand a lot lately with their aggressive posture against their neighbors, their interference into our election, and their support of Assad. I don't think the US responding to this is an automatic path to war.

I'm not 100% happy with Hilary, but I won't be with any candidate. We use our voices of criticise her and ask her to do better, even though we are happily voting for her.

No one is 100% with anyone.

Team Alucard is not the OP, is not reasonable, and does a very good impression of a Russian troll in almost every thread.

I'm sure you will acknowledge your mistake posthaste.

Pro Tip: Never listen to the Guardians opinions. Theyre ok for just gathering news but I find their opinons spotty.

On topic, hopefully Clinton takes the route of retaining high relations with Russian Guy in charge of Foreign Relations Sergei Lavrov. The peace treaty failed because the US backed rebels are not a monolithic group and each faction seems to want to do their own shit. If clinton can somehow work around that things will be better off in Syria.

Second point, the USA foreign policy is not monolithic either, many interests have their own agenda which creates stagnation if not antaganation between US backed parties so keep that in mind when they continue to fucking kill eachother (Looking at Turkey for continueing to kill my ethnicity)

Sure thing, comrade.

Liberals just love this Russian conspiracy theory.

For real though, taking such a principled stance against foreign interference in democracy is great, a serious change of pace for Hillary and her supporters.

Not a mod, just a bot.
That's fine, but maybe use one of the thousand already existing election threads for this discussion.
