I have received two packages the past week from a person I don’t know

The first was last week, they are from Virgin Beach and I’m in Arkansas. It was a new Mikita 1/2” drive set and today I receive a 20v Dewalt battery. I checked my eBay, Facebook marketplace and OfferUp to see if maybe I ordered without realizing but nothing. Any suggestions on what I should do?

I would just set aside for a few months, whoever ordered it might live next to you and it was just a typo on the address. They'll probably check to see where their items shiped and realize oh shoot it's just down the street...

Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.
OP do the packages have your name on them? Maybe they're addressed to a previous resident of your house or apartment?

It's possible these could be the byproduct of a brushing scam, where a merchant will send things in the mail to random addresses then sign into eBay or Amazon (purporting to be you) and leave a 5 star review that will look completely legitimate. But that'd be somewhat uncharacteristic considering the value / name brand of the stuff you've gotten.

If it's obvious who these packages are from (Amazon, Home Depot, etc.) then I would suggest contacting them directly. Regardless, you're legally allowed to keep the products.

The noble thing would be to get in touch with the owner and have him pay shipping to send them to his house. On the other hand, Makita do make some good drills though...

It's likely a scam related to writing reviews on Amazon. I have a friend who had a similar issue. He would receive packages semi-frequently that contained random things from Amazon that he hadn't ordered (he got dog toys once and he doesn't have a dog). Another friend of ours who used to work at Amazon said that it wasn't all that uncommon and scammers send these packages out in order to write positive reviews for their listed items. I'd probably just keep the shit.

Not sure, maybe someone entered a wrong address. It does remind me of a scam though were people find out what kind of printers a corporation has, sends them ink for that printer, and then after they are sure the ink has been used and not returned, they send them invoices for the ink with a huge markup hoping it will be paid without question. People have made a lot of money doing that kind of scam.

Did you google their address and see if it is even real?

maybe send an anonymous letter and ask for a flesh light
