I am thinking about getting a camcorder for my mother for mother's day, but I am not sure what to get her. I have been thinking for a while and I just can't make up my mind on if I should get her one, and if I do which one. So far there are two are in my price range: the Samsung SCL906 Hi8 Camcorder or the
Sony CCD-TRV138 Hi8 Handycam Camcorder
. I really don't know anything about camcorders so I really don't even know if these good or not. I've look around other places online but other camcorders don't seem as good, or are not in my price range (I only want to spend around $250 maybe a little more.) Anyone who knows a bit about camcorders have any advice?

Ewww, neither of those two are digital.

What makes you think she'd like a camcorder?
Well she says she wants a camcorder, but I guess a good digital camcorder is out of my price range. I know those two are not digital, but they seemed good; as I said I really don't know anything about camcorders,

$300, but at least it's digital and has a five star customer review:

Throw the model number into Google to see what other sites have to say about it, including CamcorderInfo.com. (I think that's the site)

$300 is a little high for me, I think I'll be looking in a different direction for a mother's day gift. Thanks for your help anyway.
