[The Black Gelding]

I am really digging their music. I just love the bold beats and the energized feel that they convey. Anybody know some related stuff? I already copped all three of their main albums. I've been wanting to get into the Dance/House/Electronica scene after listening to Daft Punk and Dizzee Rascal.

BTW: I think Jaxxs' best song is "Good Luck" The mixing is awesome.

They are pretty brash with their beats. You'll probably really like their videos and these other artists: DaftPunk, Sebastion Leger (French Spelling), and maybe Green Velvet. It's hard to compare Basement Jaxx to anyone because they sound pretty unique. They soound like themselves.

If you like the funky pretensious distain some of the tracks have, you'll probably like Ladytron. That said, since you're liking the Jaxx, go for Felix Tha Housecat's Kittenz and Thee Glitz album. I can't stop listening to it.

What you're enjoying from the Jaxx is mostly French House or very simmilar to French House. There's some slammin tracks I find, and then some turn out to be very gay and too wafty. What I like is a mix inbetween when something's got attitude, when it's funky, and when it sounds like there is both emotion and intention that I can derive from the meaning/feeling of the track. Enjoy.
