especially when all my cousins are too busy to attend. i just grab beer and hide up in my room, either gaming or messing about on the forum. let's hear it for family!
When I was younger Family gatherings used to rock. As I get older tho it's just a bunch of people saying things that have double meanings to hurt each others feelings ........
Yeah, most of my cousins fail to show up to birthdays and stuff like that. I don't really mind it since I don't have much in common with my family outside of the blood relation.
I agree with Ryck, family gatherings rocked when I was a kid. Now I find I can't stand all but 2 of my cousins (of 7) for more than an hour and reunions are real time-wasters to me.
