No idea about twitch ads, or any ad. I run adblock all the time.

Fuck ads.

might depend on what you're watching. I'm going to assume that if you watch something that advertisers thinks plays into their demographics then they'll push that out to you. so I'd guess that maybe Minecraft or the Sims or something to that effect. Maybe someone was playing a not-too-racy VN dating harem sim thingy?

really doubt they would put Barbie ad in front of a God of War game, for example

Well, now that you bring this up, the web series "Life in the Dreamhouse" is legitimately funny, and very much inspired by Barbie as portrayed in the Toy Story movies.

Indeed. My husband and I happened to find this on Netflix a while back and put it on as a goof and wound up actually kind of enjoying it.

I saw the SAME AD and said gat dam what has the world come to

IT was Power Princess Barbie if you dont believe us.

what's the problem? gamers can't/don't like barbies? there a ton of ads on gaming websites that don't apply to me. i've seen car commercials and i literally have no plans of ever buying a brand new car. i'm probably even more likely to buy a barbie. is it because it's gendered differently than what you're used to that you find it weird?

When I was a watching Paragon (A Super Smash Bros. Tournament) on Twitch last weekend, they were a bunch of ads for this Nickelodeon show called Bella & the Bulldogs about some high school girl becoming a quarterback for the football team. I was thinking, do they know the target audience for these things?
