I want to run three monitors on my computer, but only have two ports on my GPU (GTX 970). What can I do

I'm transitioning to remote work starting next week. To better facilitate this, I want to run three monitors like we do at the office.

Here is what I'm running:

i7-6700k processor
16 gb ram
GTX 970

From what I've read online, my GPU should be able to support up to 4 displays... but I don't know how to plug 4 in. I have a Displayport and HDMI port.

Does your onboard have any outputs? You can use both that and the gpu at same time

Yes, still used today, what model of 970 are you using ?

Was about to say, I was running a 970 until last year, I was pretty sure none of them have only 2 outputs.

Thanks for making me feel old though op.

just get some DVI cables / adapters for those printer port thingies there!

Your 6700K also has a integrated GPU which you can use in conjunction with your 970, so you can also use the display connectors directly on the motherboard if you don't want to buy DVI adapters.
