I know this might not be anything special, but I was really fucking proud of myself considering I'm not handy at all.
So my mom's cell phone charger doesn't work because the part that goes into the phone is shot. It takes at least 10 minutes of pushing, pulling, and twisting to get it to charge for a couple minutes. Absolutely not worth the hassle. Her car one works fine, however.
So I cut them both in half, spliced the outlet end together with the phone end of the car charger and taped it up. It worked perfectly even though were was an extra, unused wire in the car charger half. Now I'm on my road to becoming handy like my grandfather was. The man could build a microwave out of shit if he wanted to.
