I just started playing again today and MY GOD this game is amazing. from the music, to the dream like graphics, to the puzzles to those spooky ass shadow monsters. ICO is one of the best games of its type this gen.

Yeah, I think it's been established that ICO's a good game, and while I'm happy you've also come to this realization, to imply that it's instantly greater than alot of games people really enjoy is a little tactless. And better than Mario64? I think not...

There's only a handful of games ever created better than Super Mario 64, and this certainly isnt one of them.

mario 64 is boring and unimaginative IMO. i dont feel like i'm in a dream world when playing SM64 or sunshine. I feel like i'm performing some task just to pass time. ICO sucks you into its world.

I'll agree that Ico was very atmospheric but, personally, it bored me to tears. I realize I just comitted the ultimate cool-gamer sin by admitting that, but I likes what I likes. Mario 64 was exactly what it strove to be - a 3D incarnation of the classical Mario series, and I think it had more than a few of us glued to our sets.

dont kid yourself. there are no XBOX adventure games in the same league as ICO, Klonoa or the original tomb raider. NONE. and NiGHTS>ico>>>>>>>>>>>SM64. NiGHTS is probably the best game i've played in my life.
