After a short period of Xbox and PC exclusivity, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl gameplay is finally releasing on PS5, but what extra goodies, if any, can PS5 players expect and how will the performance of Stalker 2 Ps5 gameplay differ to that of Stalker 2 PS5 Pro gameplay?

Sounds like the game will not be completely on the disc, he says "it's downloading additional chunks in the background while you're playing the game".

The engine update to UE 5.5.4 will be on all platforms at launch. Hopefully that makes the 60fps smoother. It was pretty unstable at launch and I played through the game in its 30fps Quality mode, for stability's sake.

No full game on disc = DRM = No buy.

Do you know if this game will really be updated to the latest version of UE5.5.4 'at launch'? I remember the devs stating this but as we get close to release nobody seems to be able to confirm this ....

I hope this isn't a case where the devs can't make their target despite talking a good game. Especially since no other console games (that i know of) are running on the recent UE builds.

I was watching a different video and it was the opposite. Looked completely washed out on Xbox, like terrible and the dude insisted he tried to match settings. Looks great on pro to me.

No, that update doesn't have a date yet. The recent 1.7 is what the PS5 version will probably ship with at launch.

Same as the other one, probably a local capture issue. The game doesn't look that whitewashed on SX at all in my own experience.

Gamma (default) was broken on Series X at launch. You had to manually tweak it to get looking anywhere near alright, so it could be a similar issue with PS5.

I was considering getting this this week as an impulse buy but opted for izuma 11 instead.

Waiting for impressions still though.
