(IGN) Xbox U.S. Console Unit Sales Just Reached an All-Time November Low

Estimates for November are around 100-150k
Fanboys need to face reality. It's not just Xbox that's declining.

No, it's not just Xbox, ALL video game console sales are massively down year-over-year — and it's going to get worse

No exclusives, raised prices, why bother investing in their dying ecosystem? That's what new customers are thinking, and rightly so.
It's true power will unleash with ps6 and 5th gen Xbox just like the one x. When devs don't give a f about the ps5 to be precise.

Perhaps, but Xbox isn't just declining. Xbox is flatlining. The others may be down, but they are not out.

These consoles didn't see permanent or huge pricedrops over 5 years in.

If total console sales are tracking behind, its BECAUSE of Xbox which is selling abysmal, like Saturn numbers. A lot of games were pushed back, probably for GTA which was also pushed back. Its a relatively silent Q4.

All consoles are down but some dropped somewhat and one dropped x3-4 times
Last year Xbox November estimation was 430k. This year is 100-150k.
Sony/Nintendo are struggling and Xbox simply going to the grave.

I think Xbox Game Studios (not Bethesda, not Activision) could potentially have a great year next year.

Halo: Campaign Evolved - series making its PlayStation debut with a remake of on of the series best single player games

Forza Horizon 6 - great series, now set in Japan (please let me drive around Tokyo like Metropolis Street Racer)

Gears of War E-Day - going back to the characters and vibe of the original, could be great

Fable - wild card, apart from complaints regarding the female lead's face I think what we've seen so far look great

We could potentially be looking at their best games lineup since the 360 days.

As for their console business? Yeah it's dead and buried... and Microsoft seem content with that.

Everybody is struggling, but Xbox has simply given up. On Black Friday 2018, Microsoft discounted its consoles by $100. This year, they haven't done anything. In fact, they've made two price increases.

Everyone is struggling because everything is more expensive these days. In 2018, the PS4 was sold for $199. This time, the Black Friday PS5 price was the same as its launch price in 2020. Trump really screwed Americans in a way nobody expected.

But hold on... That means people are still buying Xboxes!

Why?
I mean seriously..... if one didn't buy an Xbox prior to them going up T W I C E this year, what possible reason would one jump in now??!! Buy in at $300-$500? Nah, I'll wait till they're 5 years old, porting their titles to other consoles, and when they're priced $450-800.

What fucking timeline is this??
