I'm getting a new phone tomorrow (excuse to make another phone thread)

After sticking with AT&T and their absurd rates for far too long, combined with having a phone with a battery that now dies after around 30 minutes of talk time, I've decided to drop AT&T and swtich to T-Mobile and get a new phone.

Amazon.com has sweet deal on the Sony Ericsson t610 phone (actually it's $25 sweeter than it was when I bought the phone a week ago, BLAST!).

I got the phone and $150 extra ($150 - $300 in rebates) for just a one year contract with T-Mobile. I used the $150 to cancel my AT&T contract, and all in all I'm only paying about $50 to switch carries and get a swank new phone.

Hurray for me! It's got bluetooth, so I will be able to sync up with my Powerbook.

Nice phone dude. Bluetooth is really nice when you are driving (if you get one of the headsets).

I was thinking of getting one of the Sony phones, but I settled on this:

The people at work were nice enough to hook me up with a Motorola V600, because I needed a phone that could use polyphonic and mp3 ringtones.

It's pretty cool, though I need to get a data cable and I've yet to find a real use for Bluetooth. I'm also not one to own cool gadgets like this very often, so I sometimes feel out of my element carrying this neat-ass phone around.
