I know what I want. I absolutely MUST play Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat, but I'm pretty limited on funds. I also trade in my games regularly so I'm not so sure a 3-5 hour game will warrant 60 bucks. (that's the cost with bongos, I think)

These are the other games I'm considering:

-Oddworld
-Mercenaries
-WE8 (I don't really care about soccer games one way or another, but I've never played one of these games before)
-Fight Night 2005 (keep in mind, just as a SP game)



Should I just hold out for Jungle Beat? I'm going to play it eventually, but I would hate to get a game that I'm literally done with the night I bought it.

You don't even have to be a soccer fan to appreciate the greatness of WE, none of my friends are.

Great! The nice thing is this WE has really good tutorials so that should help you get into the game even faster. It takes about 10 hours or so probably to get really acclimated to e.g. the shooting (which is tough to get used to at first) but it's one of those "minutes to learn, a lifetime to master" kind of games, and once you get sucked in you will see why many here feel it's the best sports game ever.

I'm inclinded to agree. Jungle Beat is only 50 with bongos, and 40 without. I say wait for it. Aaaa, well, WE8 is a good choice too, but I know I can't wait for Jungle Beat!

Oddworld but you can't go wrong with Mercenaries either. Both kick major ass. Although Oddworld is a little more special IMO. The graphics are sick too!
