Wanted: Athletically built male and female performers between 5-foot-10 and 6-foot-1, with acting skills and who are capable of playing the drums. Tryouts are on Oct. 18, between noon and 5 p.m., at Pocket Studios, 920 Eastern Ave.

"As Blue Man Group expands into new and exciting terrain, its tireless casting department is on a worldwide mission to find performers uniquely qualified to be Blue Men," says the announcement.

Besides prospective blue men, they are looking for musicians to play drums, percussion, guitar, bass, zither and chapman stick.
