When it comes to video game character models, it can get kind of hard to tell if its a girl or a woman without the bio info.
That said, I wouldn't be caught dead playing this kind of game but I know it will be popular among girls/women.

It's the discovery and collectathon nature of this stuff that works for me, combat in gachas is often so tired or superficial it gets in the way (often purposefully as a paywall barrier), so this just doing away with the some of the jankier crap I don't care for to concentrate more on playing dress ups (lolol) is already a bizarre win in my book.
31M pre-registrations so far, I've not got time to see how that works on ps5 yet, but have submitted my email here: https://infinitynikki.infoldgames.com/en/home and will check it out later.

Men over 30 all over the world are eagerly awaiting this game. But seriously, this is a game from the creators of Love and Deepspace. At the moment, one of the most successful Gacha games with a focus on the female audience. Here, as I see, they decided to stick to the same path. But looking at the number of pre-registrations in this game 31,000,000 people. For some reason it seems to me that the main gaming audience will look like this:

Anyways, the game probably isn't my thing, but I will watch impressions anyways. I was pretty interested in the BMX stuff from the gameplay trailer a few months ago. It could be one of those games that's a lot of fun in unintended ways. Hope it finds an audience though, I could see the game being big.

Just beware of the monetization. It might be the right time to teach her the value of money depending on her age. I say this as someone who played Gacha games as early as my teens and never went full on board spending in any of them even now that I can.
Their first and currently main game Love and Deepspace has very good monetization (Naturally if compared with other gacha games). + Here they immediately benefit from the fact that they position it as a game for relaxation, there will be nothing hardcore in this game. This game is more for people who just want to calmly run around the world, finish playing mini games and pet animals. Therefore, in terms of monetization, I do not expect something brutal =)

Idk I can't pinpoint what's off about grown adults being excited for this game , but it just see an off.
So stay away from my kids anyway...

There's only one protagonist, so the gacha is only for cosmetics that don't impact the gameplay. Because of the fashion contests in the game, the monetization is aimed mostly at female audiences.
There are bosses and basic combat like in any platformer, the same as in Astrobot or Mario. The few dungeons I have seen look amazing, with a great variety. You can tell the BOTW lead designer was given money to burn.
