Pretty much the same shit, there's no live ML whatsoever. Nvidia says they use custom silicon to accelerate the execution of some of those pre-baked functions (the tensor cores). But ultimately it's not a requirement to execute such code.
Any CPU-GPU can execute ML generated code. It's just regular code that's been baked in advance. No learning AI in your console.
Take it like this: when people say regular consumer hardware uses machine learning inference for some functions. It just means that it's regular non-AI code, but with the fact that this regular code has been written by a learning AI (way back at the studio/server farm).
