Sources within the industry have indicated that Intel plans to release its Battlemage series of graphics cards prior to the Black Friday shopping event, scheduled for November 29, 2024. This strategic timing could play a crucial role for Intel, aligning with the significant consumer interest generated during this period. Intel's inaugural Arc series graphics card was launched in early October 2022, suggesting a pattern where a November release could capitalize on the year-end shopping surge. However, Intel has maintained discretion regarding the specifics of the Battlemage series, with official statements focusing on the ongoing development and a pronounced emphasis on software enhancements.

Intel's academician, Tom Petersen, has also alluded to efforts directed towards developing architectures beyond Battlemage, specifically the Celestial series. This points towards Intel's forward-looking approach in its graphics card technology roadmap. The company's strategy for the Arc graphics card series appears to diverge from previous marketing practices, with limited information being disseminated internally, aiming to create anticipation and surprise within the gaming community.

Seems like this years Q4 is going to be a hot time for GPUs.

If they can match the 4070 and 4070Ti with their range toppers while undercutting the price.
They are golden.

Whether people are actually gonna buy the cards is a totally different issue, but hopefully.
The xx70 class needs to be properly affordable again.

I was in the xx70 crew since the GTX 260c216 till the 3070.
Got a 3080 now and contemplating sticking with the xx80 class cards going forward.
