I've got this new "VDSL" connection (26Mbit if that's of any help) and the modem keeps loosing its signal every 10 minutes, but strangely enough not when I'm not using the internet (idle with ICQ and MSN). My friend told me that if I had a.. what's it called.. not static IP adress it could be the DHCP server (or something like that) fucking me every 10 minutes when it checks.. something, but the thing is I have a static IP adress (PM me if you want it for some reason
. Over the weeks I've gotten a new modem, checked the quality of the kopper line (no probs sez telia, the provider) and tried with 3 different computers to no provail.
Anyone work with anything simular and can recognize this situation?
