Finally bought a new PSP, but then pushed the demon onto someone else. Jesus.
Other than Amazon, Walmart, bigbadtoystore...?

What are some online toy stores that have cool stuff.

Entertainment Earth is decent, except they mostly sell things by the case or in sets. Kebco Toys works well for anything GI Joe, Star Wars, McFarlane and Transformers.

Ringside Collectible if you want to pay 2x the retail price for wrestling toys.

It would also help to know what you're looking for since there are a lot of sites that sell specific toy lines like Gundam, McFarlane, etc.

When I was young, I would go down to this spot in NY (14th St.) called Forbidden Planet. IIRC, they opened another spot on 52nd street by the tram.

I wonder if they're still around and if they have an online component.

Anyway, I would beg my Mom to get me these expensive Japanese robots that I never heard of, but thought they looked cool. My favorite being God Mars...

Guardian was cool too... Had robots inside of robots.

I just want big heavy die cast cool looking robots and cars...

Nope they don't have a web site according to a few other sites, nor does their interational page reference any site:

I think that's it.

I was a big fan of old school robot toys and cartoons myself, including Mazinger Z, Grendizer/Goldorak, and Gaiking. I remember that robot you're talking about, he had a cartoon where he would split open and had smaller robots inside him.

There was also this show about a guy who had this necklace, and when he pushed both his fists together into the necklace he would turn into the robots head and the body, arms and legs would fly in outta nowhere and attach to him.

Yup that's their international page. They do ship to the US I believe but you need to check their rates.

Has anyone eles had trouble ordering from Big Bad Toy Store? I pre-ordered some of the alternators there, and they showed up 2 months late.

I figured I'd just wait until the next ones (Jeep, Corvette) showed up in stores, but I've got on idea when that's supposed to happen.

BBTS is pretty much on the ball with a lot of their things. If the toys showed up late to you, it's most likely because BBTS got them late as well. The "Scheduled arrival dates" they post aren't, unfortunately, carved in stone.

Glad to hear it was a fluke; just frustrating that they were so late, and without any real response to inquiring emails.

A lot of toy shipments have been getting delayed for issues with customs. I ordered a set of Marvel Legend 6 that were supposed to released in late July and I got them the last week of August.

Where can I find all things mechs/robos? Any Japanese web sites ship to the US that have that kind of thing?

Is on the US and sells both PVC and Die Cast robots, models and import figures.

I actually went to their retail store in Portland, OR a few weeks back. The actual store sells about 1/3 of what you can get on their site. They also sells shoes and pop culture t-shirts. I picked up the transformable diecast Escaflowne for $30, though. Good deal.

Yes, I HIGHLY recommend www.Justbetoys.com. They used to be only toys, but then they moved into a bigger place and now have an art gallery, clothes, shoes, and movies. So they actually have two websites, their toy store part website, and www.Justbedesign.com. Their toy website has way more stuff than the actual store, but at the same time, the store sometimes has stuff they don't have on their site.

Run by an INCREDIBLY cool guy. You will never have a problem with CS, if you want a return, they will take care of you. Based out of florida so they have some delays right now with the hurricanes. I've shopped there over 5 times, never had a problem.
