Anybody see it this weekend?

I saw it on Friday - it actually wasn't all that bad. I went into the theater down the street from me to see if anything was playing, and this one started in 10 minutes, so I figured, what the hell?

It isn't a great movie by any stretch of the imagination and it is certainly not devoid of any plot contrivances, but it works. It starts off kind of slow - the first like 10 minutes are of people swimming - but it quickly picks up steam and ends up as a pretty fun movie.

There are quite a few nice shots of the female anatomy, both of Alba and this Ashley Scott girl, which is nice.

I low how Ropert (of Ebert & Ropert) opened his review with "Into The Blue, starring Jessica Alba's buttock...", as it's probably going to be the source of 50% of this movie's take. Hell, I'm tempted to see it just so I can see Alba's ass in a 50-foot incarnation.

When I said the first 10 minutes of the movie were people swimming - make that people swimming and Jessica Alba's ass...swimming.

Well, like I said, I just walked into the theater on a whim. Into the Blue started in 10 minutes, while most every other movie started in, at least, 30 minutes. I didn't feel like standing around.

I might see Serenity at 11 pm tonight. Maybe.

Seriously I love Jessica Alba's ass...But I'm not going to see Into The Blue. There's no way I would go see a movie just for Jessica Alba's ass. If my girlfriend wanted to go see it then I'd go but otherwise I wouldn't waste the money.

Have you seen it? if not STFU. I saw it yesterday and really enjoyed it. It ISN'T some stupid teeny action film for idiots. There is some real suspense in here and some very gritty action all shot and played with an eye towards realism. The last 20 minutes of the movie is nothing but high tension.

My thoughts exactly.

It is really an enjoyable movie. It isn't going to win any Oscars or anything, but it is a tight, well played movie.

It looks like a stupid movie based on the previews and even the actors' past work, but it is a good Friday night flick. It isn't a movie based around Alba's ass, as some would make it out to be - that is just a bonus.

If you just want to sit down and eat some popcorn while enjoying a film - this is the one to see.
