hi there!

My ipod video 30gb audio jack is busted (output only the left channel)

since the warrany have been expired for over a year, the asked me 15,000 yen for repair.

Now can I resolve this somehow? like with an dock connector to audio jack thingy?

Just buy a replacement part off Ebay and it's reasonably easy to install yourself. Google for a guide. I've done it a few times and I'm no electronics whiz but it's worked out fine.
