Insane For Sony
Whenever a new game comes out, someone on the gaming forum will ask "So, how is We Love Katamari?"

Is that the correct way to ask, when you actually want to know "What's We Love Katamari like?" or "Is We Love Katamari any good?".

I was under impression that the phrase "How is" should only be used used when asking how does someone feels like, or something to that deegree, for example "How is your uncle today? Is he feeling any better?"

Perfectly correct. Someone's playing a new game, you walk in and say, "So how is it?" Response: "It is [adjective]."

The only incorrect phrase in your post is the bolded one.

You can use the phrase "How is..." when you're asking about a state of anything. It can be the state of the game you're playing, state of your uncle, etc.

I remember flying home from Europe last year, and the guy next to me was maybe 25 or so and from Germany. He had only been out of school for a little while and was going to come to the US on a transfer program through Behr to work over here for awhile. He had studied English but his first time ever even being in an English speaking country was when he was at Heathrow for his flight transfer. He was asking me all sorts of questions which I had to struggle to figure out how to answer. I didn't mind, but you'd be surprised how hard it is to explain the usage of 'actually' to someone who's only studying da Engarish

I'm only asking this because outside of internet I don't remember seeing "How is" used in that form, so I was worried that it could be one of those things like "definately" that everyone just keeps using even though it's incorrect.
