So I slipped while stepping into the shower and really hit my leg and arm pretty damn hard.

Managed to get out through the pain but then the world started spinning and next thing I knew I was lieing on the floor. I didn't quite faint but I was a bit paraylzed from the blurriness.

Leg still hurting a lot but I feel a lot better now.
But is this normal ?

Do you think you might have fainted? I can tolerate a lot of pain but some types just make me feel faint (puncture wounds, wounds on fingers or toes, hitting that nerve in your knee or elbow); a lot of people experience this. I'd see a doctor though, just in case.

I get dizzy standing with nothing around me. I get so dizzy sometimes that I have to find something to grab so I won't fall.

Sometimes pain can trigger the vasovagal response which leads to loss of consciousness. I've had vasovagal fainting spells triggered by stomach pain. But you should talk to a doctor about it to make sure.

You likely fainted, and could have hit your head. I'd go to urgent care ASAP, if not the ER.

I got this once from swallowing a huge gulp of air when drinking water. It's horrible.

Yes because I get vasovagal fainting spells when I'm in serious pain that I fear won't stop anytime soon. I know this because the first time it happened I went to the doctor where they tested my heart, my blood pressure, made sure I didn't get a concussion, etc. I suggest you do the same!

I kid you not, I stepped of my ladder down a coal shoot and very nearly broke my ankle. What a trooper though; after I hobbled back inside and got my composure back (I only just made the couch), I managed to complete my DIY (filling cracks in siding and adding paint). Afterwards, I was running a fever and had trouble sleeping from the throbbing pain and my ankle still isn't 100%, but screw paying thousands for hospital visit.
