So I visited the Apple Store in the mall today, and noticed that they just had dozens and dozens of iPods, sealed in the boxes, sitting all around shelves in the store for you to just take to the counter to ring up.

So I go over to an employee, and start a conversation.

"Why do you have all these iPods just sitting around in the boxes and no security guard?"
"That's why there's so many of us [employees] here, we're watching."
"You... you don't even have a security sensor system at the front door. What does that cost, like $500?"
"(smiling a bit now) I'm not at liberty to discuss that."

If you were going to steal one discreetly, you shafted yourself by making yourself known.

What you shold do is get a shopping trolley, some homies and a van . Rush the door, load as many iPods into the shopping trolley then load the shopping van (or throw in the back) into the van. If you were stealing for yourselves just rush in and rush out- they wouldn't know who to chase
