I borrowed their "Song about jane" cd from my friend *dramatic pause*

I always discarded as some radio friendly flavor of the month band for chicks, and I really like the voice of the singer. I really like 'This love', 'Sunday Morning', 'Sweet Goodbye' and my favorite track has to be 'She will be loved' . There's a few tracks that sound like justin timberlake stuff tho :\

Not a classic, not something that will break barriers and its not something that will change music, but still its a good cd to listen once in a while.

I never even heard of them before their latest CD came out. Then a couple months ago I was driving my mom's car around and I noticed my sister's Maroon 5 cd lying next to me. I popped it in and all of a sudden an intense urge to vomit came over me. I dunno, maybe it's because I've heard it so goddamn much on the radio and it has such an overly manufactured sound to it. To each their own, I suppose. I won't say it's bad music, though. Just that it makes me want to vomit out whatever food is in my body when I'm hearing it. Slight exaggeration.

Screw the elitist haters. Is it overproduced and incredibly "pop"? Sure. But since when was that a bad thing? I like music based on how it makes me feel; their music gives me good vibes. If anyone isn't mature enough to handle that, then that's their problem. It's also why you'll NEVER see me criticize anyone's taste in music.
