I guess that depends on your expectations. I found His Dark Materials more compelling than The Mandalorian, for what it's worth.
I went into it completely blind, only knowing about it from HBO ads/trailers, and think it's one of the better new entries this year. Much of that probably has to do with the fact that it's really ambitious for a television series, so I guess that they were able to pull it off without falling flat on their face was enough to impress me. It has a Harry Potter-esque vibe to it with some great VFX work, CG animals/daemons usually blending into the scene well enough to pass for the real thing (aside from the whole talking thing).
I'm about as picky as it gets with entertainment these days, but the story and characters were good enough to keep me interested. Lin-Manuel Miranda seemed to be a little too flamboyant and out of place for my liking, standing out like a sore thumb, but for the most part the cast does an admirable job with what they're given. It was good seeing Lucian Msamati and James Cosmo from Game of Thrones both in this, too (Salladhor Saan and Jeor Mormont respectively).
Haven't seen Servant.
