It's a fantastic, unique game. If you like it you'll LOVE it. And at that price that's an insanely good value. Top 3-4 games this gen for me easily

Lan Di is the only bad guy I think that is cooler than Ganon. I hate saying that he should be in a VF game but he should. Epic moments in that game

Definetly. If you are afraid that you won't know what is going on, there is a movie that comes with the game that explains the first game albiet not a great one. The game really is a masterpiece though.

It is indeed on a seperate DVD which you can view on any conventional player (like a PS2!). And it's the same as the one released in Japanese theaters.

Do it! Shenmue II has the most memorable cast of characters in any game I've played, a great story, and AM2's unparalleled graphical style. The gameplay is really just a bunch of clue hunting, street fighting with a Virtua-Fighteresque engine, mini games, and quicktimer events (button icon flashes on screen, you have to press it in time) -- nothing fascinating in its own right, but combined with the rest of the package it's a very worthwhile experience. One of my favorites.
