I hope they make Nightcrawler more effective in this one. I tried to use him in the first game, since he's my favorite character, but he sucked so bad.

No, it was real. I let my Live account expire awhile back. If I get a free trial in X-Men I'll play online, but it's not a reason for me to buy the game.

Yeah he and Magneto were two of the first to be revealed. I just hope his supers don't suck. :/

I hope they make Nightcrawler more effective in this one. I tried to use him in the first game, since he's my favorite character, but he sucked so bad.

His usefulness comes in being able to 'port into rooms and to unlock doors and the like. Did you level him up a lot? He was one of our most often used assist characters since he could teleport and save someone near death. Or we'd use his quickness and teleport attacks to wear down some enemies before the main squad got there heh.

But there were far more useful characters for actual fighting. There really isn't much you can do with the character in this game.

Yeah, for me it was just a multi player beat em up we got get together and play, much like the days of Turtles in Time or Double Dragon etc. If I ever use the online part of this game it's because I really want to play it but can't get the usual group together for one reason or another. I can't see that happening too often.

They are revealing about two characters a week now. They just revealed two new enemies
in Zealot and Omega Red. There are still some undisclosed playable characters uptop and then you also have the 4 extra playable characters in the PSP (and I think PC) version as well. Rayne's list though is about on target what everyone is speculating so I don't think it would hurt to go by that. The Scarlet Witch rumor is pretty hot so I would believe in that plus Emma Frost is a NPC this time so it makes since. I do hope Jean Grey is brought back since she was a badass last time. I really wish Havok was playable but all signs are pointing to no.
