I just went outside and saw a bunch of people at the park a few steps away from my house. I heard them so i was investigating wtf they were so loud about. I look up at the stars and within two seconds what do i see?

Freaking YOU F FUCKING OHs no three different meteors or somethings. I dont want to disturb the party in the park. But they arent suppost to be there after 10pm. So i might go check it out ask what they are doing.

I just want to go to the park and hit some golf balls. But seems like i might just stay out there and watch the light show. Hope its not UFO's or shit.

UFO's just freak me out.

Annual Perseids meteor shower. What's unfortunate is that you don't really get the true light show unless you're far, far away from city lights. I went to upstate New York one year specifically to see the shower, and it was spectacular. Maybe I'll repeat the trip someday.

I'm over here at the park which is pretty blocked with no lights. On and its near the ag campus so there is no lights in the fields. Its very nice to see for the first time. I wish i was up in the mountains like earlier today.

So how long do these last? I remember seeing one in progress last year like at 3am or something but it was done after a few minutes.

Its moved on from the looks. Just a few stray ones ever few minutes now. But about 10 minutes ago it slowed down. But it rocked.
