Is there any band/artist that makes music on the NES/GB and sings to them?

Just wondering since I got some wav samples of some of the typical wave shapes the NES can come up with, and a noise sample (to simulate hihats and crashes), and I'm thinking of just composing and singing to them...

I don't plan to make typical videogame songs either, I am trying to simulate the sound of a punk band, getting more realistic sounding riffs rather than something sounding techno-ish. Been doing ok thus far I just need my lead "guitar" to sound more natural. Maybe some arpeggio where it counts can make it sound more like a guitar rather than a synth.

But y'know...pretty much everything's been done before...so I'm asking if anyone knows names of such groups that have done it. I know that there was one musician who did some Gameboy music and released it, but I don't know if he was trying to emulate a real band with it. Or if he sang.

Beck did a Gameboy remix of "Hell Yes." And "Girl" has a gameboy-ish intro. If that's who you're referring to.

This poster pulses with an appeal so broad the typical restraints of our societies fall by the wayside.
I saw this band on Attack of the Show one day, haha. Not sure if it's what you're looking for. No vocals, though.

8 Bit Weapon is a musical duo that specializes in creating modern music using classic video game consoles, vintage synthesizers, and obsolete computers.

Cool, thanks for sharing guys, I'll check them out in detail tomorrow. At first glance, it seems that I could be doing something a bit different, I'll go for it. I'll post clips as I progress.
