IT CAME FROM XBOXLIVE

So I just got SFA3 Max, so I fire up DoA4 Online, cause there's nothing that kills the time waiting for your turn to fight like ANOTHER fighting game. Anyway there's these two idiots on voice, I have voice off cause im in pure game optimization mode.

First off both got negative feedback. Second, neither of these people were funny. They thought they were funny, said some shit about a birthday cake and some frosting and used the word fuck a lot.

Anyway they ranked SS and A-, tore up C- and B- (myself) players constantly one by one. One of them claimed to work for microsoft, and bragged, then as the game wore on it turned out he was a 19 year old contract worker for microsoft who bragged about his class in game 'theory' where he no doubt 'tightened up the graphics on level 3'. Then it turns out he works a 1am to 9am shift or some shit, where had previously said he workd 9-5 which means LIAR Lolz

So its my turn, and umm, they just didnt know how to fight Helena well. Plus I blocked more than the other people. So I managed to eek out ONE WIN.

Now get this, they ARE better players than me, but upon winning I became the target of this insane amount of weird gamer hate, blaming everything from lag to choosing some lame fast character. Im sorry Helena takes SOME skill, jesus.

Anyway I dunno if im gonna do Random anymore. Both of those turds got some fukin negative feedback.

We need a gaf league where winner fights lyteedge :(

so this is the "I'm soo good and I can't help it you don't have the skill to beat me" thread?

fine with me.

I dunno Timen, I suppose admitting that I managed to 'eek out one win' could be considered bragging if youre a complete social shut in.

DChar: I only give negative feedback to people who trash talk non-stop. A little joking is fine, but if everything from your mouth is an attack on someone or a variation of the word 'Fuck' I dont want to be around.

on the slim chance that i play on xbox live with people i dont know i refuse to use the mic. hearing some of the stuff i hear just makes me cringe so i usually just turn it off completely. kids these days are fucking idiots.

Most of them arent even good at trashtalk. An example being that tonight, one of them said something along the lines of "MrMAF, what kind of name is that? Its boring, better give popcorn with it!"

and im just boggling my fukin mind out.

The big advanatge for me is... that I don´t have any idea of what they say. The voice is not so clear and my english skills have certain limitations.

But I´m agree, I need to take time and add people here to have a safe group to play, I don´t like very much the random thing.

Ad I want to play with Lyte Edge, I always like to be beaten for great players, is a good way to learn.

I mean, aren't you better than that... so what if people bitch about you winning. it's always been like that anyway. :)

edit; even if it is only one win.

This game seems to be the most popular 360 Live game nowadays... you're always playing it and so is the rest of the people on my list. I feel like I'm missing out. I dunno if it's worth purchasing now for around $40 used or better to save that money for a March release \(@.@)/

DOA4 has the worst infestation of Xbox Live idiots I've ever seen, and that includes the heady days of Halo 2 matchmaking. The other day I finally found a smooth, lag-free match, and then a friend of the room owner came in with his "hyuk-hyuk" Southern accent (all people on Xbox Live have one of three voices: 9 year old kid, obnoxious fratboy, or basso Southerner), and apologized for lagging the match because "I'm downloading Everquest 2." Then get out of the fucking match, asshole. But no, he stuck around and turned the proceedings into a slideshow.

Earlier that day I ended up in a match with this guy who was just talking constantly. Quickly it became obvious that he was on the phone with someone and talking into the mic. Eventually it got ridiculous so I started yelling at him to shut up, but the other guys in the room sadly explained that they had learned during his one-way conversation that he had muted the TV and everyone in the room, but not turned off his headset. So he was babbling his half of the most inane conversation in the history of language while we had no way to communicate to him our need for him to shut the fuck up.

I like to be able to talk to the people I'm playing against, so I'm loathe to turn off the voice chat entirely, but with DOA4 that seems to be the only viable option if you're playing in random games.

Just hit the 'guide' button, go to the players tab and mute the @$$hole?! I do it all the time. My friends and I are constantly putting the 'tech muzzle' on idiots who jump in our games and talk disruptively.....that's if we're not in a private game.

We were audience to some stupid "comedy routine" that featured a lot of "n*gger" and "fag" jokes one night on DOA. That was when we discovered you can mute players with your guide button. Just go to the players list, find the little asshole who won't shut up, and mute him. You and the rest of the people in the room can go right on talking to each other with no disruptions.
