I've been waiting to hear back from this job that I really want. I was told to expect to hear something this week, regardless of getting it or not.

I went for a run this morning and missed the HR phone call. Their msg just said to call them back when I get the msg.

Called them back, left a voice msg saying I was returning their call. Called back a few hours later (they called around 11 am, called back around 1230 & 3). Still haven't heard anything. Been sitting on my cell all day waiting to know if I got the job or if I didn't. It's been like 4 hrs of this. This decides if I move to a new city or move back in with my parents.

Gimme job interview horror stories gaf while I wait on my phone for another hour before the close of business. Then I have to finish packing

I had a job interview for Starbucks and did a good job answering all the asinine questions and didn't get the job. Not even good enough for bottom of the barrel minimum wage work, that's horror.

I've been waiting on a call since Friday myself. Last I heard they wanted to make a decision by this last Friday, but that doesn't exactly mean that calls would be going out right away. Still, its Tuesday and my phone hasn't rung. I'm trying not to panic, but I'm getting tired of being latched to my phone out of fear of exactly what you just described.

I should give them a call at some point, but I'm not sure what the appropriate wait would be.
