James Ransone, 41, who played Ziggy Sobotka in HBO’s gritty series, posted a lengthy email on Instagram last week that he sent his alleged sexual abuser in March.

Wow I never made the connection that he was Ziggy in The Wire. I just thought of him as a frequent Scott Derrickson collaborator (both Sinisters, both Black Phones).

I found out yesterday that Lamarr Wilson died through suicide, now James Ransone?!?

I can't imagine the loneliness or dealing with abuse some people go through, but please reach out to someone.

That's heavy. He played such stand out roles in The Wire and Generation Kill.

Sadly, it's this time of year is when mental health issues peak. The time when focus should be on joy can really signal to those who are feeling anything but.
