I wonder what caused the resurgance of SMB2 sales... probably the upcoming pricedrop.

I was wondering that myself. Is it a school holiday perhaps? GBA games get a huge boost whenever there's a holiday of sort. Or perhaps supply was underestimated after how series 2 performed.

I don't think there was a boost, just other games falling away. Nintendo games (Famicom mini in particular) tend to be consistent sellers. It will probably do another 30k + this week, whereas world soccer will slip to, say 28k or something. The fact that Jissen Pachislot is back around the top 5 also supports this, it's been doing around 13-14k a week, so. It's just because sales are all pretty low right now...

That said, there probably was a little bit of a boost, and it probably is due to the coming price drop. I wouldn't say this is making a huge difference though.
