Jaws? Bah. I'd rather a videogame in which I can find new ways to torture Richard Harris as Orca while getting bonus fluke rubs from Bo Derek.

Holy shit that sounds AWESOME! This is definitely one of those games that came out of the WTF-factory of gaming! :lol :lol :lol

Holy hell what a horribly misguided attempt by a Japanese dev to appeal to the western market. I mean after all us filthy gaijins sure do love our gore!

Uh, Appaloosa are in Palo Alto, and are originally Hungarian. They used to be called Novotrade.

Appaloosa is not Japanese. They're from Hungary I believe. Curb the Japanese hate pal.

It's also coming to Xbox and has Xbox Live functionalty...or at least it was the last time I heard of this before it apparantly became a licensed title based off Jaws. Nice to hear it's still in the pipe though...vid for it looked interesting but I'd thought it had been canned by now.

Yeah Majesco are really sucking these days what with a next game from Starbreeze, Psychonauts, a PSP game from Planet Moon, Advent Risisng and a recent 75 million dollar IPO.

Aren't they publishing Phantom Dust in the US as well?

I remember being demoed the Sole Predator game a ways back -- the dismemberment stuff is either pretty cool in a sick way, or pretty sick in a cool way. If you were careful and precise, you could eat the legs off a guy, and he'd still try to swim away with just his arms. Also, once I swallowed most of a swimmer, but missed his hands, which individually began to float toward the surface. It was (maybe unpleasantly) detailed!

Isn't that the game before it got transformed into Jaws? In that case, no.

no, that was Sole Predator...

Bloody Waters is a different game. gamefaqs only has it listed coming on PC now, with no publisher
