I have an internal job interview at my current place of business... It is for a new position in a new department and would get me off 8 hours a day phone support...

I have been on the phones giving techincal support for a software program for 7 years...

It is really time to move on and burn out would be calling it mild... I hate talking to people...

Well, this new job would be migrating client information from one database to another system and getting it to function on the web...

Please, please, please... I need a change...

Since you are already with the company, lean heavily on your experience. You already are familiar with the internal processes, you know about the product, you know about the error reporting system, etc. Make it seem like you could step in a do the job without needing training.

Yeah... my wife told me to bring the quality surveys that my name appeared in. I am also going to bring any documents that I have created over the years in regards to procedures.

1 hour 30 minutes until the meeting!

I hate interviews. I've been on 6 or 7 interviews in the last 3 weeks. Only one call back and it's for a job I'm not that interested in.

Good luck dude.. interviews aren't exactly my cup of tea either although I usually can do fairly well if I just act naturally and go with the flow of the conversation.

It went well...

I am just weak in the area of creating reports/queries in Access or our reporting tool... I work installing the software not playing in it...

He said that he knows I could do the job, but kept coming back to the reporting...

So you never know, I was a little nervous and caught myself repeating a few things over and over... he was probably like "yeah, I know you want to be in on something at the ground level again..."

DAMN... oh well, not bad for not going on an interview for 7 years...

No... it was weird near the end when he said "a blowjob will get you the job"

What does that mean? I mean that was weird... should I tell my wife I got the job? haha
