:lol :lol :lol :lol talk about bringing back relics

Someone please bring back Golgo 13 on Revolution

No this isn't the FotNS action game. It's just the "Plus" version of Sammy's Fist of the North Star pachinko game. The same one that's STILL on the top20 every now and then even though it was released in May last year. This expansion should sell just as well and keep Sammy's profits up and save Sega from another year of closure. :lol

I can't believe they're still making Wizardry games in Japan while here in North America the Wizardry name has all but evaporated.

The Meteos boxart looks great.

OMG a FotNS game?!?!??! I need details!!!! Man I have one that came out on the PSOne... story is pretty much ripped straight from the book, can't remember what that one is called... fun though. I like when you have to activate the special attacks by inputing the direction and button combinations as quick as possible to defeat the bosses....

I own the US released PS2 Wizardry and like it for the most part...... I didn't even know they were making anymore anywhere...

It's a Pachinko game.

Yes, but it's a Fist of the North Star pachinko game, which makes all the difference. The only thing better is going down to your local pachinko parlor and doing Kenshiroesque "Watatatatatatata!" yells while pouring your cash into the machines. This was also the best thing about playing Fighting Mania; if you werent wa-ta-taing, you weren't playing it correctly.

What is the name of this game? I saw a sweet video showing off some pretty awesome moves and gunfights. But, I couldn't tell if it was a action RPG of some kind or a straight forward action game. Nevertheless, I want it!

Tsukiyo ni Saraba

It's an action game with several playable characters including a bruce lee ripoff who fights with kung-fu. The game is being directed by the creator of Suikoden and the music is 50% Yasunori Mitsuda.

Comes out 2/24 in Japan.

:lol That reminds me a bit back I wandered in to an arcade and there was a punch pad fist of the north star game... there were two columns of punch pads either 3 or 4 on each. In the rest position they were back against the sides of the cabinet but during the active phase they would swing forward and light up... you had to time hitting them right as they lit up to hit the enemy you were fighting... and to finish him off you had to just go crazy hitting them. Tiring... but pretty damn fun.

LOL, it's definately not your daddy's Wizardry. One of the new race types is a new species of furry called a Fellpurr...

And when you play dress up with one of the androgenous warrior types on the official website; even clad in full battle armor including the largest sword and tower shield possibly ever seen in Wizardry history, he STILL dons his chic leather mocassins. What a trooper...

A couple new scans from the website...(Can you spot the fellpurr?)

<sniff> I want this new Wizardry.... Midway you've been bringing Shadow Hearts here... bring this!

Yep, that's Fighting Mania.

I'd heard of Fighting Mania, but it wasn't until I saw it in the arcade that I realized it had a Hokuto no Ken/Fist of the North Star theme. Cue me diving for the change machine and dumping in quarters for the next half-hour. During the regular "hit the pads some" phase of the game I'd go "Wa-ta! Wa-ta!" periodically, which led folks to believe I was doing some strange Bruce Lee impersonation. Then when the boss round "hit the pads a helluva lot" phase arrived, I went into full on Kenshiro "WHATATATATATATATATATA!" phase, which caused people to actively back away from the machine. I would occasionally yell "You're already dead!", which didn't help matters.

God, I love Fighting Mania.

Yup that's it... while I didn't go as... overboard as you my missus was looking at me a bit strangely so I had to explain what was up to her. ;) I was lucky it was during the middle of the day and there were very few people in the arcade to hear me.

So I guess Pac n' roll(or whatever it's called) won't be included in Pac Pix.

Screw you Namco! I'm not buying your little hardware demo.

Thankyou! I'm going to keep an eye out for this.

why do we have deuling threads with (mostly) the same content?

as i said, those gundam packs are teh suave. good job on doing something with the whole "the best" idea without being generic and having it be sexily design oriented.

phantom kingdom has awesome composition and nice art.

and tekken has the worst fucking character artwork as usual. it's like, one step above mortal kombat, i swear. why do all the 3D fighters have such ass-ugly characters except for SC?

The Tales of Eternia one looks awesome.

And I liked a lot the idea of Pac Pix, was the best demo in E3 and sold me about the possibilities in gameplayof DS. I want that game and that cover reinforce my idea ;)

Phantom Kingdom is so mine

I played the Tsukiyo demo at TGS.

Fun max-payne rip off. It's not a high-budget polished game but with different characters and fighting styles + good music I think it'll at least be an enjoyable game.

Wow, that's actually quite nice. Certainly better than the PSX (JPN) version.

Also - Ys VI JPN cover > US cover.

The three Nintendo DS boxarts posted here are excellent! (meteos, PacPix & Egg M Hero)

Meteos will be mine! It will be my first imported DS game.

One question to importers: when can I expect it to be on Los Angeles import stores? (it releases on the 10th in Jap, and I leave LA on the 14th, will I be able to get it before that?)
