Ughhh, PSP covers suck.

Tenchi no Mon = Shinobi cover rip-off but with a shitty looking CG guy.
Twelve = Generic art in a non-stylish/intresting layout. Looks fanmade, good job Konami.

I know why

its the ratio.. it gives the artist more freedom

I dunno, I think the DS ones here look like ass too. Jump Super Stars is just "lets throw as many characters as we can in the space" without any thought to positioning, and the Pac N' Roll one looks ok but isn't very interesting. The Lost in Blue cover looks terrible though, crappy goofy CG is stupid.

Both size boxes can have good covers. Popolocrois and Tales of Eternia both have gorgeous PSP covers.

I dunno, I think the DS ones here look like ass too. Jump Super Stars is just "lets throw as many characters as we can in the space" without any thought to positioning.

I dunno, I thought the positioning is well thought out with the more prominent manga characters getting a larger presence. As a piece of manga art, its pretty decent. Nothing really outstanding, but it shows on the cover the main stars that will be in the game.

It would make a good poster actually.
