I certainly hope more characters end up being big surprise playable characters once in the final. A team based game with 5 One Piece characters, 5 DBZ characters, 3 Naruto characters, and a handful of others? More like jump super lame Am. I. Right?

DBZ is still huge over there. DBZ Budokai 3 sold a good amount, and Naruto picks up great sales all over the place.

Doesn't this game play poorly though? I thought someone said that it's not a very good game.

This would be my question too... if this was a great game I could see a wave of DS sales, but if it just sucks gameplay wise only the otaku will be fooled by it.

Just the fact that Nintendo is publishing this makes me really curious.
I probably wouldn't have paid much attention if it were a Bandai release.

Nintendo looks to be moving in on Bandai's territory after their board freaked out over the stock investement. This plus Eyeshield 21 show Nintendo finally moving back into anime licensed games (plus they're now starting up their own animation studio). I wouldn't be shocked to see Nintendo working out a deal with Tomy (with whom they already share a pretty close relationship thanks to Pokemon licensing) for bringing the GC/GBA/DS Naruto games westward...

Its really cool that the put Goku on the front. Sure its DBZ, it loses alot of its appeal once you get older. But its still DBZ , REPRESENT!!11

I'm actually going to to go 50k+ for the DS and about 210k for JSS. I'd imagine it to have very long legs as well. DS games in general seem to stick around for ages.
