So I got an I-Pod, so far all I did was dump my "My Music" Folder onto Itunes and I see all the songs listed, many w/ proper album info (though a few not). What do I need to do to get all this organized properly? Also, how do I see Artist->Album folders instead of just a bunch of songs?

So under Prefs it says where My Itunes folder is under My Music, but there's no music there, am I supposed to drag something into here? There's music in my library, but that's just from dragging My Music into there... Should I move my music?

Oh well, at least the I-Pod can play music and hold a lot, b/c this Itunes shit is fucking crappy. The I-pod should come w/ an extensive tutorial. Jesus.

ITunes=suck.

iTunes is very cool.
I'm not exactly sure what you're asking for.
For the songs that don't have complete info, you can edit their ID3 tags (you can even select >1 song and edit >1 songs at once). Then, you can organize your songs by artist, album, or any other field...

So do you just right click on songs that are messed up click "get info" and then edit titles and stuff there? I don't really thinks Itunes suck as much as I am a helpless n00b and it would be cool if the Ipod were more helpful to the helpless.

Yup. It's the same thing as double-clicking on a song's title in Winamp and bringing up the ID3 dialog window.
You can do other things like rate songs too.
I just started using iTunes and probably don't know that much, but it's pretty cool.

Astrolad, you should check out XPlay. It's a manager for the iPod.

I bought the last version of it, but I have a problem with having to shell out for an upgrade of it... so I switched to iTunes. Some parts of it I like, some parts I don't. Just like you said, where the fuck do I move my music to so iTunes recognizes my library? I've already changed where the location of my music is supposed to be in iTunes preferences, and still, it doesn't matter unless I drag & drop the songs into iTunes. Booty. I don't need to copy my fucking library, kthx!

Man, every time I try to install it I get this:

1628: Failed to Complete Installation.

Then I don't get the Itunes Setup Assistant the tutorial talks about that searches for music files.
