Just pitched my first no-hitter, EVER.

Hey guys. Just wanted to toot my own horn here. At approximately 11:30 tonight, Jaret Wright pitched a no hitter against the Tampa Bay Devil Rays AT Tampa! Oh man! Let me just tell you guys, it's been a long time coming.

I've been playing baseball videogames since the NES. Moving from RBI baseball (still the best offering on the NES), to Tommy Lasorda Baseball (Genesis), to World Series Baseball (Genesis), to All Star Baseball series (N64, GC), to MVP baseball (Gamecube). I've never ever pitched a no hitter before, but tonight I did it.

Hooray for me, I can now stop buying videogames.

At what difficulty setting? I'm on MVP.
 
thats impressive if your doing it on mvp level. mine was on default whatever that is, you could pretty much k everyone if you placed your pitches right

Online MVP is so freaking awesome. Our GAF crew would have some insane 18-20 inning 2-1 score games.
 
I threw a no hitter on this years 2k game for XBOX, my first no hitter in a video game, or at all for that matter.

i wish i would have bought it for the box, the ps2 version online was horrible, i just gave it up because its so hard to hit when there is lag
 
Mr.Bob doesnt suck at MVP and DM is very good at the game,we had a lot of solid players,only like 3 or 4 of us have the game still.

Shit if you thought DM's game was great,I had a perfect game against Fifty using Roy-O and I struck out 20 I believe on the MVP setting with all the batting/pitching cursors turned off.

Ahahahaha. I had the worst game of my MVP career that game. What DM forgets to tell you is that we played a 7 games series and I won the series 4-2! You lose again DM!

PS- Who is the Madden champ? With the Bears no less! That's right! ME! :D
 
Man I suck at baseball... Mario Baseball at that. My roomate usually gets 4-5 runs on a single inning. Something about him buntting his way in and stealing bases all the way home. Oh and I suck at the outs thing :/

god i cant wait to see next gen baseball....the thought of it makes my pants tight. but i doubt theyll put the ncaa baseball on next gen hardware this year so ill prolly sit out because theyre is no way im givnig anyone but EA my money for a baseball game. this years MVP was hands down the best baseball game evar

That game was crazy. I think I gave up only 8 hits all game but they were all solo home runs!

Well only if it involves the Cubs,cause they suck and he sucks for rooting for them.
 
This reminds me...a couple years ago I set out to throw a perfect game with Mark Mulder against the Twins, on the hardest MVP difficulty, MVP or All-Star, I'm not sure what it was back then. I go through the 8 2/3rds innings without giving up so much as a full count. I've struck out like 15. Tori Hunter is at bat. I have him down 0-2. O AND TWO. TWO OUTS IN THE NINTH. PERFECT GAME ON THE LINE

I go to the trusty curve ball to strike the uppity outfielder out and I hang it right over the middle of the plate. It was about 3 inches from being a homerun :|

My buddy watched the whole thing and to this day won't let it go.
