Kameo is highly underrated.

It never drags and the story makes sense from begining to end. I enjoyed every single level and they all brought something unique to the table. There arent alot of games I can say that about. Also co op mode adds alot to the replay value. Its fun as hell.

Yeah co-op added a good amount to my overall time. I just wished you could've played through the game in it's totality. The Badlands would've kicked ass in co-op!

How does Co-op work? I don't have anyone around to try it and since there's no online co-op yet...

Do you just run around together and work together fighting things?

Going by reviews and threads here, it seems like most people (aka, the average person) is beating it in under 10 hours. If you don't care about the combat system and thus don't fight every single enemy in your way you can easily go into every house, talk to every NPC and do all their little quests for fruits, find most of the hidden areas like treasure cave, and blow through all the story dungeons in under 10 hours.

It's definitely a short game. I mean it really only has intro -> 3 stages/temples and then endgame and its not like the temples were particularly long either. Most were one or two giant areas with a bunch of puzzles/platforming/fights to get from the start to the end.

That said it's still a fun little game for the 2-3 days it lasts.

maybe I suck after all :D

What I meant by average gamer is people who do not post on message boards. I would consider those hardcore.

Having a long time doesn't mean one sucks :P I'm guessing what takes some people longer is that they spend more time riding around the overworld and going around each area exploring for fun. Since the game always shows you where to go next with a green dot, if you just follow that the whole time you'll blaze through sections a lot faster than if you were exploring on your own.

Its the single player levels with 2 people, no overworld scenarios or anything, you just select from a list of the levels. Its fun mixing and matching characters, you can get some cool combos going with the right setup. Its hard to screw up a co op mode IMO. Too few games have it.

Hey is there a 2nd ending is you get everything? I've been grabbing strawberries not that I've finished the game and I'm not sure if I'll bother getting all 100 (have around 70 atm). The ending was a little open ended though, so is there a 2nd ending after you get everything?

A lot better than Beyond Good and Evil.

I cannot understand the love Beyond Good and Evil gets. I enjoyed the game at the beginning, but as time went on it got repetitive as hell. The story is WAY too pretentious for how goofy the presentation is. It is also hard to take seriously with all the stupid characters running around (Your pig-uncle is the most annoying character created in a videogame. Ever.). The combat is lame and overly simplistic.

I think people started to latch onto this game once people realized that it sold like shit. Elitist gamers like to attach themselves to things that are not popular because it goes against the mainstream.

Also, since it is currently hip to hate Rare, it is not suprising to me that most of the people on this board hate Kameo.
